Lawn Community Association Membership

The Lawn Community association is a local membership organisation and your support is greatly appreciated.

Membership is in three catagories.

Ordinary Member - All residents, aged 18 and over, and living within the "Area-of-Benefit", generally called the "Lawn Area" as defined in the Constituion have status. By paying a Membership fee, may upgrade to Full Member status.

Full Member - These are residents of the "Lawn Area" who have paid a membership subscription for the current year.

Ordinary Members of the association, by paying a Membership fee.

Associate Member - Applies to anyone, subject to approval of the General Committee, residing outside the "lawn Area". Associate Members may elect up to two representatives to vote on their behalf at the AGM.

Junior Member - Applies to those under the age of 18 years who have paid a Membership subscription for the current year.

An AGM is held every year, unless there are extenuating circumstances, to which all residentsare invited but only fully paid-up members are elligible to vote at the AGM

 

Benefits of Membership include:-

Paid-up members, both Full and associate, are entitled to join any of the "LCA Section" group activities. By joining they demonstrate a commitment to the Association by helping to run the Centre.

Full Members are entitled to vote at the AGM thereby having a say in who/how the Association is organised and operates. Full Members may also stand for election.

 

Our Membership subscription year starts in January and runs for 12 months; if already a Member; please check your subscription is updated in time for the next AGM. The current subscription is just £1 for the year.

An application form available by clicking here "MEMBERSHIP", or from the Centre Office. One form per person, even if residing at the same address, must be returned complete with address, signed and dated. For your security, all applications forms will be securely kept in a safe at the Centre.
