Saturday 10th May - LCA MOVIE AFTERNOON- From 14:00 in the Main Hall. The LCA Film Club will be showing "Jersey Boys" from 2019. You are asked to support this event by making a donation of £2 per person. There will be refreshments and ice cream available during the interval break.

Saturday 17th May - TAKE NOTE & TEA - From 14:00 until 16:00 in the Main Hall. This is a special treat for music lovers. when Anoushka Morse with her "Take Note" recorder group will present an afternoon of their music accompanied by a cup of tea (with scones!) in good company. Everyone is welcome, so please come and join us.

Admission for this event is £5.00 per person, with all profits being donated to our two nominated charities - "The Big Breakfast" and "The Swindon Trauma Group"; both very deserving causes. Please join us.

 

Tuesday 20th May - LAWN GARDENING CLUG AGM - From 19:30 until in the Main Hall. This is a members-only event with a sale of plants. 

 

Wednesday 11th June - PICNIC SOCIAL - From 12:00

 

Tuesday 17th June - LAWN GARDENING CLUB DEMO - From 19:30 in the Main Hall. The Club will have a demonstration by Gemma Russell from Brinkworth Flower Farm, local grower of cut flowers. Visitos are welcome for 2 meetings with a £3 admission charge. By becoming a Member for just £10 a year the admission charge is just £1.50 per session.

 

Tuesday 15th July - LAWN GARDENING CLUB - From 19:30 a Garden Party will be held at a member's garden - If weather is wet, then meeting will be in the Main Hall from 19:30 with an American Supper.

 

Tuesday 19th August - LAWN GARDENING CLUB - From 19:30 in the Main Hall, 'Simpson Seeds' will offer an introductory talk on hydroponics, or how to grow seeds without getting your hands dirty!

 

Wednesday 10th September - PICNIC SOCIAL - From 12:00

 

Tuesday 16th September - LAWN GARDENING CLUB - From 19:30 in the Main Hall, Paul Green will return with a presentation of plants for a late season interest.

 

Saturday 20th September - THE SWINDON SOCIETY - From 10:00 until 18:00 in the Main Hall and Room 1 (on Ground floor). Following last year's very popular presentation and exhibition by The swindon Society we look forward to discovering even more of our local history.

 

Saturday 18th October - WINDOW WANDERLAND - From 10:0-0 until 12:00 there will a workshop nsession for advice and materials in preparation for our 3rd Annual Window Wanderland event.

 

Tuesday 21st October - LAWN GARDENING CLUB - From 19:30 in the Main Hall, Richrd will give a talk entitled "My Apple Juice"?

 

Friday 31st October - TREAT STATION - From 16:00 until 18:00 outside the Centre for all of you on your Trick-or-Treat trails.

 

Wednesday 12th November - WINDOW WANDERLAND - From 16:30, we will launch our event followed by a guided walk to see the marvellous window creations.

The Window Wanderland displays will be shown from then until Sunday 16th November.

 

Saturday 15th November - WINDOW WANDERLAND - From 15:00 there will be another opportunity to join us with a guided walk to see the displays for yourself. 

 

Tuesday 18th November - LAWN GARDENING CLUB - From 219:30 in the Main Hall, will hold their Annual Dinner.

 

Saturday 13th December - COMMUNITY CAROLS - From 17:00 until 19:00 we will meet for a concert of carols and other entertainments. Please come and help us in this joyful event.

 

Tuesday 16th December - LAWN GARDENING CLUB - From 19:30 in the Main Hall, will be a presntation of "Christine's Christmas Crafts"
